This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Use the court printed on the notice whenever possible. The following Greenville County contacts cover common starting points, but the clerk or agency should confirm the current hours and correct counter before a visit.
- Whether a county warrant exists: contact Greenville County Sheriff's Office Warrant Services, 4 McGee Street, Greenville, SC 29601, at 864-467-5241. After-hours dispatch is 864-271-5210, option 8.
- A General Sessions case record: contact the Clerk of Court's Criminal Records office at 305 E North Street, Suite 228, Greenville, SC 29601, phone 864-467-8745. The Clerk lists 864-467-8551 as its main number.
- A Magistrate or municipal bench warrant: contact the court that set the date. The Clerk of Court does not retain municipal or Magistrate case records.
- Resolving or clearing a warrant: contact the issuing court and consider speaking with a licensed South Carolina attorney about appearance, recall, surrender, or bond requirements.
For General Sessions copies, Criminal Records lists a fee of 25 cents per page and $10 for certification, with a usual processing estimate of two to three business days. Email requests may be sent to coccriminalrecords@greenvillecounty.org. Confirm fees and availability with the Clerk. The Clerk does not hold city or Magistrate records, and a case search on Public Index is not the same as a certified copy.
